¯    On September 21, 2010, ValÕs latest album, LOOKING FOR A FEELING YOU NEVER KNEW YOU NEEDED, was released digitally worldwide.

 

¯    In September 2010, Val had 4 songs featured on MTV shows. Two songs from the new album, LOOKING FOR A FEELING—ÒGoneÓ and ÒGrown Up ManÓ—were featured on Real World. Meanwhile, ÒJust To Feel Alive AgainÓ from WOODSTOCK and ÒIf They Come AgainÓ from SUNLIGHT SEARCHPARTY were both featured on Jersey Shore.

 

¯    In Fall 2010, Val starred in a national Macys commercial with P Diddy, Jennifer Lopez, Donald Trump, Jessica Simpson, Martha Stewart, Tommy Hilfiger and Rachel Roy.

 

¯    In early 2010, Val starred in a Heineken commercial which aired nationally for months on end. Famed music video director Mark Romanek created the spot.

 

¯    Emmich spent the majority of 2009 writing and recording the album LOOKING FOR A FEELING YOU NEVER KNEW YOU NEEDED with production team Near Records in Long Branch, New Jersey.

 

¯    During the spring of 2009, Val spent his time shooting the feature film, ÒFighting Fish.Ó He played the lead character of David.

 

¯    In the fall of 2008, Val starred in four episodes of the hit ABC show Ugly Betty. He played the part of Jessie, the musician neighbor who ends up being the love interest for the showÕs lead character played by America Ferrara.

 

¯    While on the show, Val was seen performing a song entitled ÒSnowy Day,Ó which was dedicated to the lead character. He wrote the song specifically for the show. Him and his band also performed EmmichÕs song ÒGet On With ItÓ from the album, Little Daggers, in one scene.

 

¯    Emmich released a studio album titled LITTLE DAGGERS in September 2008.

 

¯    While recording in the fall of 2007, Emmich appeared as a guest star on NBCÕs Ò30 RockÓ as the love interest of Tina Fey and on ABCÕs new primetime drama ÒCashmere MafiaÓ as the love interest of Lucy Lui. Emmich as been acting for nearly ten years now. For more info, visit imdb.com.

 

¯    Emmich and his band toured nationally in support of LITTLE DAGGERS. The band has built a reputation of being an incredible live act and has gained fans within the most credible circles.  Web hits soar and album sales significantly spike when the band is touring, indicating an extremely positive reaction from fans on the road. Val and the band have spent time on the road with Dashboard Confessional, Gym Class Heroes, The Get Up Kids and Thrice as well as Butch Walker, American HI-FI, Gavin Degraw and Better Than Ezra.   The band received a tremendous response from the crowds and bands alike.

 

¯    EmmichÕs Songs, Volume 1: Woodstock was released on May 1, 2007. The first release of the ÒSongsÓ series, Woodstock contained outtakes and demos that were written and recorded during ValÕs sabbatical in the Woodstock, NY in October 2005. ¯    EmmichÕs album, Sunlight Searchparty, was released on October 24, 2006.  The package included a one hour documentary DVD directed by Matt Schuman entitled ÒItÕs Only Your Life: The Making of Sunlight SearchpartyÓ as well as a 16-page booklet designed entirely by Emmich himself.  The album can be purchased valemmich.com and myspace.com/valemmich via cdbaby.com.  Downloads can be purchased on the aforementioned websites via Snocap.

 

¯    Val Emmich's music video for the second single off of Sunlight Searchparty, "The Only One Lonely," was selected as Best Music Video in the 7th Annual Independent Music Awards.  The video, directed by longtime collaborator Matt Schuman (freshhead.com), was selected from the largest number of entries the program has received to date.

 

¯    The VIDEOS for ÒThis ShipÕs Going DownÓ (directed by Steve Birnbaum) and ÒThe Only One LonelyÓ (directed by Matt Schuman) can be found on myspace.com/valemmich and valemmich.com. HIP Video Promo worked both videos simultaneously. The videos were spinning at MTV.com, shotsringout.com, Billboard.com and many more web sites and blogs, as well as MuchMoreMusic and regional music video outlets across the country. The video for ÒThe Only One LonelyÓ has received over 100,000 views on youtube.com to date.

¯    On Friday, February 9, 2007, "This Ship's Going Down" was the NUMBER 2 Alternative song according to the Mediaguide Unsigned Radio Airplay Chart, right behind Clap Your Hands Say Yeah.

¯    ValÕs interview for MTV RADIOÕS YOU HEAR IT FIRST program aired on 50 modern rock stations across the country along with the first single ÒThis ShipÕs Going Down.Ó

 

¯    The one-hour documentary about the making of Sunlight Searchparty, ITS ONLY YOUR LIFE, was available for a brief time on CONCERT.TV ON DEMAND in 16 Million homes.

 

¯    Val has co-written songs with many noteworthy artists such as Kevin Griffin (Better Than Ezra), Butch Walker, John Fields (producer Switchfoot, Soul Asylum), John Hampson (Nine Days) and more.

 

¯    Val was the first unsigned artist to appear on MTVÕs TRL and he continues to have a strong relationship with MTV. He was featured on the MTV show Advance Warning, which repeated several times on MTV and MTV2. The video for the song "Privacy Attracts a Crowd" from the debut album Slow Down Kid (2003), made its debut on the show and was later featured on the MTV Advance Warning compilation CD, which was available in Best Buy stores around the country.

 

¯    The video for ÒPrivacy Attracts a CrowdÓ was added to MTV2 and MTVU.

 

¯    MTV ran an audio-only segment of Advance Warning on 25,000 American Airlines flights in December 2003; potential listening audience of 3.4 million people.  Two of Val's songs --"Privacy Attracts A Crowd" and "Boy Who Cried Wolf" -- were featured on the show.

 

¯    Val Emmich was featured in the first issue of MTV Magazine.  "Privacy Attracts a Crowd" was included on the Spankin' New Music compilation CD that accompanied the Magazine.  The enhanced compilation CD links to more Val Emmich content.  300,000 copies were distributed.

 

¯    In August 2005, Val helped MTV close a $12 million worldwide sponsorship deal from McDonalds for their Advance Warning Series. In May, MTV invited Val to participate in their Upfront Presentation and had him perform for four of the countryÕs top advertising agencies.  The presentation was to help advertising agencies bridge the gap to younger demographics.
