BEST CONCERT/SHOW YOU'VE EVER BEEN TO?
Too many to list. Tom Waits at the Orpheum will always be up there since he'll probably never tour again.

WHEN DID YOU FIRST PICK UP YOUR INSTRUMENT?
4th grade. I played piano since 2nd, but my dad thought I should play guitar or bass because I "had the hands for it." I was also one of the only kids tall enough to hold a stand up bass.

WHO/WHAT MADE YOU FIRST WANT TO PLAY MUSIC AND LEARN AN INSTRUMENT?
My family was always musical. The question wasn't "Do you want to play an instrument?" It was "what instrument are you going to play?" But it was a little punk band from DC called Dag Nasty that made me want to play rock music. I was in 7th grade and it floored me. All of a sudden, songs about fast cars seemed really stupid.
